In relationships, I believe that there are things that hold certain value to us. Gifts given to one another that we cherish as part of our connection. When I started this relationship, it was only my second so far, and I promised to be a better person. I put all of my effort and willingly allowed myself to be loved again after so long. Bit by bit, I began to feel more comfortable and the number of mementos of this bond only continued to grow.

This project is more than just documenting what things I have given and received during the first few months of this relationship. It's about tracing the storyline of how things went on. I never imagined this relationship would last so long. I still had a lot of problems to work through. But through it all, I began to see that it's better not to ask whether if it'll work or not. It's better to walk forward with the hope that no matter what, things will be okay, even when it seems like they aren't.
